NNs Roy Mangersnes og Tom Schandy gjorde det godt i fotokonkurransen "International Wildbird Photographer Awards". Konkurransen er arrangert av det britiske Bird Watching Magazine og Warehouse Express.

Roy Mangersnes vant kategorien Birds Of The World med et bilde av bøylepingviner.

Juryens kommentar: "The three elements of this photograph are positioned perfectly, showing good use of format and cropping. The exposure has been judged well, given how difficult it is to achieve on snow."

Tom Schandy vant kategorien Bird Behaviour med bilde av en hoppende orrhane.

Juryens kommentar: "This great colour combination has a monochromatic feel. You can imagine the photographer sitting in a hide on a cold frosty morning, hearing the noise and watching that great comedy face."

Tom Schandy fikk i tillegg  "Runner Up" i kategorien Portfolio med en serie på tre bilder fra tiurleik.

Juryens kommentar: "These photographs tell a nice story and it was bold and original to focus predominantly on the less colourful female."
